How do sampling campaigns work?

Once you create a campaign and define your target audience (age, gender, location, product category preferences), our algorithm identifies the best-matched samplers from our verified consumer pool. Samplers receive your product, try it, and submit structured feedback — including ratings, written responses, and optionally a video review — within 14 days of delivery. All feedback is aggregated in your campaign dashboard.

Who are the samplers?

Our samplers are real Indian consumers who have completed detailed lifestyle and preference questionnaires across categories including beauty, snacks, fitness, pet care, tech, fashion, and home. They are matched to your campaign based on demographics, interests, and questionnaire answers — not randomly selected. Every sampler has verified their email and phone number and added a delivery address before becoming eligible.

Is there a minimum number of samples required?

There is no fixed minimum. You set the sample quantity when creating your campaign, based on your budget and research goals. We recommend at least 50 samples for statistically meaningful feedback, but smaller runs are fine for early-stage validation.

How is campaign pricing calculated?

Pricing is based on a per-sample fee that you set when creating the campaign. The total campaign cost is: number of samples × price per sample. Payment is collected before the campaign goes live. You can review the full cost estimate before committing.

What payment methods are accepted for campaigns?

We use Razorpay for campaign payment processing and accept all major credit and debit cards, UPI, net banking, and wallets. Payment is required to activate your campaign. Campaign fees are non-refundable once samplers have been assigned.

What feedback data do I receive from samplers?

For each sampler you receive: overall rating (1–5 stars), quality/value/packaging sub-ratings, open-text responses (what they loved, what could improve), purchase intent, recommendation intent, optional video review, and social share confirmation. All responses are aggregated in your campaign insights dashboard.

How granular can my targeting be?

You can target by age range, gender, state/region (one or more Indian states), and product category interest (beauty, snacks, fitness, pet care, tech, fashion, home, kids). Further refinement happens automatically via our matching algorithm using sampler questionnaire data — including skin type, dietary preferences, household composition, lifestyle choices, and more.

Who handles the logistics for sampling campaigns?

We integrate with Shiprocket for shipment creation and tracking. Once you confirm the match list and schedule a pickup, the logistics workflow is managed through the Samplr dashboard. You are responsible for providing samples at the pickup location on the agreed date.

What is the Samplr store and how do brands benefit?

Accepted Answer

The Samplr store lets consumers browse and purchase your products directly on the platform. Once you add a product to your catalogue, it is available for purchase by our sampler community. Orders are placed via COD or Razorpay and tracked through your Orders dashboard. This creates a secondary revenue channel alongside your sampling campaigns.

Who owns the feedback and sampler data?

You own all feedback submitted for your campaigns. Samplr uses aggregated, anonymised data to improve matching algorithms, but individual sampler responses collected for your campaigns belong to you and are not shared with other brands.
